Installation and Access
Platform options
We offer three installation and access routes for ekatoto on mobile devices:
Installation steps
- Download the Android APK file from the ekatoto website (iOS users open the browser and navigate to ekatoto.net) or visit the web version directly in your existing browser.
- On Android, enable "Unknown Sources" in Settings › Security, then open the downloaded file and follow the install prompts; iOS users skip this step and proceed to login in Safari or your preferred browser.
- Create a new account by providing your email, username, password, mobile number, and valid government ID, then complete the KYC verification (email confirmation plus ID scan and selfie).
- Once verified, deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), then start accessing football markets, live-dealer tables, slot games, and esports betting.
App versus browser access
The Android APK version of ekatoto provides offline caching, push notifications for live match updates and odds changes, and slightly faster load times on repeat visits due to local file storage. APK installation requires one-time setup and trust of the ekatoto installation certificate. Browser access (both on iOS Safari and on Android via Chrome or Firefox) requires no installation, works immediately, and auto-updates whenever ekatoto releases changes—no manual update downloads. Browser access is also easier if you wish to access ekatoto from multiple devices. Both routes connect to the same account and payment system. The choice depends on whether you prefer the convenience of an installed app with notifications, or the simplicity of browser access with automatic updates. Either way, all ekatoto features—football betting on Liga 1, Piala AFF, Champions League, live-dealer games, slots, and esports—are available on both paths.
Device compatibility
We support Android 7 and above for APK installations. On iOS, browser access works on iOS 12 and above; we recommend Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. Devices with less than 100 MB of free storage may struggle with the APK download; tablets are also supported. Mobile devices with weak data connections (2G/3G) may experience slower load times during live-betting or live-dealer sessions. We do not provide support for jailbroken iOS devices or rooted Android devices. If your device does not meet these minimums, the web version accessed via browser may offer better stability than the APK.
Common installation issues and solutions
If Android installation fails with "Unknown Sources blocked", open Settings › Security and toggle "Unknown Sources" to allow installations from sources other than Google Play, then try again. If the APK file fails to download, clear your browser cache and retry, or try a different Wi-Fi or mobile network. Certificate trust warnings on Android typically resolve by waiting a few seconds for the system to verify the certificate; if the warning persists, check that your device date and time settings are correct. iOS users who see "This website cannot be reached" should clear Safari history and cookies, restart the browser, and try again. If you remain unable to install or access ekatoto after these steps, contact our support team via live chat (available in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan during local business hours) for assistance.
Data, permissions, and account security
ekatoto collects location data (for jurisdiction-compliance screening), device identifiers, and your IP address when you install or use the app. We also collect KYC data (government ID number, name, date of birth, address, phone, email) for identity verification and compliance with anti-money-laundering regulations. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. We do not sell personal data to third parties for marketing. Your account password is stored encrypted and cannot be retrieved by us or by anyone else. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately via the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. We do not ask for passwords via email, SMS, or support chat. For full details on data handling, permissions, and privacy, see our privacy policy on the ekatoto website.
Mobile access to ekatoto is designed for speed, security, and compliance with local law where service is available.
